Mara Gap Stool – Wet Black
The Mara Gap Stool, which can also serve as a side table, is a take on the traditional stool shape. It features a gap which delicately reveals a red line from one angle, and a blue line from another. The high-gloss black surface of the stool is paired with a textured metallic black.
Mara series is a family of laminated furniture pieces. Named after my late grandmother Mara, it’s inspired by her kitchen, which was entirely covered in laminate. During my childhood in Serbia, laminate was beloved.
This collection is an ongoing exploration of breaking down archetypal shapes into multiple surfaces, accentuating the form through the use of various laminates.
Each piece in the Mara series can be customized to suit individual preferences, allowing for a unique combination of colors and textures.
